I decided I needed a little 'pick-me-up' after moving here. I was feeling lonely and homesick for my friends. So, I took my mom's advice, and threw a party. I don't have many pictures because I was having too much fun to even remember my camera.
Carol 'The Great' Stephens made my gift for the White Elephant Gift Exchange - these awesome pumpkins.
We had lots of food, which you can see I didn't remember to take pictures of until we'd finished eating.
Everyone had to describe themselves as a candy bar. Then I gave the girls some random candy with the description on it and they had to guess who went with their bar.
I also had the kids do G's classic 'cloves in an orange' for a center piece. They loved it, and it smelled SO good.

What a fun party! Everything looks beautiful. You and Jen go all out on everything you do. The Candy bar game sounds like a hoot. I'll have to remember that if I ever make some friends over here.
