"Trailor's" Birthday

Taylor Saunders, aka: Trailor (according to Braden) had his 3rd birthday this past weekend and Kent and Stephanie threw an awesome party. TONS of helium balloons, water balloons, slip-n-slide and food. I stole all these pictures from Stephanie's blog since I forgot my camera. Only Kent with a MONGO lens standing 15 feet away could get a picture of Chris like this!

Party On!

Zane had a Pirate Party for his b-day. Complete with pinata....

and frogs....Braden was trying to figure out where the frog went, and when he saw it on his shirt he calmly said, "Off...off...off...off...NOW!"

Lots of plastic and an Elmo sprinkler made a stellar slip and slide.

Stephanie is so awesome trying the S-n-S in her clothes. Her "feet only" slide didn't work, but her fall was pretty graceful.

And there's nothing else like Lattin's Farm on a Saturday morning for fresh, hot, homemade Apple Fritters.

Just a Ton of Stuff

We've been up to a ton of stuff. Brooklyn LOVES "babysitting".




I hear the boys outside singing, "Shake your bum-bum, shake your bum-bum" and find that they've stripped down to their diapers.



We took the kids on a bike ride down to the water where we could see Rainier and the Olympics. This is my 'Mona Lisa' shot of Chris. Is his smile beginning, ending, or will he even break into one?

Mt. Rainier

Chris just made his 3rd attempt to summit Mt. Rainier. With one of the staff doc's from Madigan and another friend, they took Emmons Glacier route which starts below the glacier line still down in the trees at about 4400 feet. From there they set up base camp at Camp Sherman at 9600 feet. They weren't able to summit due to inclement weather conditions. Chris says he got kicked off the mountain again. He's 1 for 3.

"Bikes"

We have some friends with 17 acres south of Olympia and they've made a track behind their fields. So, naturally we set up camp and went riding for the day. It was nothing short of Christmas for the boys (all 3).
