READER BEWARE: I haven't blogged in quite some time so I'm cramming a ton of pictures into this post!!
We went to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina this past weekend. We met up with Barney and Diane, and Tina - who had never even met Braden.

Because we were on the Atlantic Seaboard, not in the gulf, we didn't have to worry about any tarballs. The Atlantic Ocean is SO much warmer than the Pacific!
Brody & Braden were really trying to master the skim board. Brody took '5' to let his rear rest after too many missed attempts at staying on his feet.
What works for our family at a soccer game was pushed to the limit for 11 at the beach! It was HOT and we were all cramming to get in the shade.
Hot steamy days call for cool creamy drinks!
This ain't Mexico, but it's still pretty good!
"Everyone" (minus ONE) wanted crab legs and oysters for lunch. So we hit a local seafood place. Everyone, except Braden, Brooklyn, and I, ate some. No one threw up...some miracles are worth noting.
Adios Tina...until another 5+ years or so!
Longs days in the sun left some of us a little drowsy.
Our last morning there was the BEST. We had shade! We weren't baking like lobsters glutton for punishment.
This awesome sand castle was in our lobby. I freaked out every time my kids went near it though. With the luck we've been having, I could see one of them tripping head first into it.

One of the highlights of the trip was our bike rides. There were some beautiful trails winding through the trees.
Braden rode the whole way on his two wheeler. We are unequivocally done with strollers and the bike trailer.

On our way home we hit Savannah. It was brutally hot; horribly humid. We still had a good time and saw some great stuff.
