Bailey is now a Veterans Memorial Middle School Ranger. She's traded (but not for long) her Red Star red & black for Veterans blue & red. School ball is a whole different game from Club ball! She's getting initiated into the world of public school sports in Columbus, Georgia. Her team is like the Valley Girls of Columbus. We're not particularly liked - but we're 6 games in and undefeated!
One of Bailey's team mates had her arm broken during a game. Luckily for her, Chris went to that game (not me) and was able to splint her arm and get her off the field. The PA from a local hospital assigned to the game walked onto the field with some band-aides and an ace wrap! After splinting her in cardboard and getting her off the field, Chris called her parents 5 hours later to find she still hadn't been seen in the ER, so he went down to Columbus Regional, where he moonlights, and was able to get her arm set, casted, and on her way. This is the second time that Chris has had to help with a broken bone at one of our kids' games.
