For the second half of our Spring Break, we took the kids to Stone Mountain in Atlanta.
Stone Mountain is a sight visited by George Washington, and was the revival spot of the KKK. On the Stone Face Front is a Dedicatory Memorial to Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Lee, and Jefferson Davis.
Today it's a huge park with lots of fun attractions, and is its own little world with a beautiful lake and lots of trees.
It's a little hard to see, but in the background you can make out the two skyline districts of Atlanta.
