The Ghana U17 Women's National Team, in preparation for the Women's World Cup, came to play an exhibition game in Columbus. Baileys' team was invited to escort the Ghana team out onto the field, and to be ball girls on the side lines during the game. Each Red Star girl was asked to write a letter to the Ghana player she escorted. The girls got to watch the teams warm up, and then talk to the players after the game. Bailey is #22, her Ghana player was #18. They needed an interpreter to speak to one another, but Bailey gave her player one of her team patches along with the letter, and all the other Ghana players were crowding around to take a look at it. It was an awesome experience for Bailey, and an incredible game to watch. It was Chris's last night before his out processing began, so a great night all together.

So cool! What an awesome experience and so glad Chris was still around to be there for it.
What a great opportunity! I am sure Baily had fun! Soccer season started this week here. We are in full swing practice mode! Games start in two weeks.
